Welcome to the official website of
American Barnstormer Walt Pierce and the
Double Trouble Wing Walking Team

Jenny Forsythe was adopted as an infant by her wonderful parents, Mary & Dave Forsythe, and grew up in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. Always a curious child, Jenny eventually found her biological relatives in 1997, one of whom had an airshow background. After years of flying with him and watching his wing walking act with Jon Falkner, Jenny decided it was time to become more involved in the airshow business. Upon Jon’s retirement in late 2003, Jenny became the official team wing walker for that team on the Quicksilver aircraft.
In 2005, when Jenny was approached by Walt Pierce to become part of his Stearman wing walking team, she jumped at the opportunity - being a wing walker to the core, the privilege of becoming the first wing walker to perform professionally on both a monoplane and a biplane (and in the same season!) wasn't something she could pass up. In late 2007, Jenny parted ways with the ultralight team and devoted her main efforts to the American Barnstormer team.
In addition to wingwalking for American Barnstormer, Jenny also works with a variety of other airshow services whenever she gets the oppportunity (Continental Air Show Productions, etc.). By schooling, Jenny is a scientist with degrees in Chemistry and Geology and has worked in labs at both Los Alamos National Laboratory and the University of Notre Dame. Starting Summer 2009, she will be pursuing an additional degree.
Jenny enjoys inspiring youth at airshows, showing them that even kids who experience(d) low self-esteem can grow up to do extraordinary things. When not performing or working on other airshow business, Jenny loves to volunteer in a variety of service projects through her church and Building Hope in the City.

Best known as an aviation author and photographer, Tyson V. Rininger will be taking on the role of performer for the first time in 2009. Graciously working alongside veteran pilot Walt Pierce and accomplished wing walker Jenny Forsythe, Tyson figured, “What’s one more step?”
Normally he can be found hanging out of airplanes on photoshoots for other air show performers or aircraft manufacturers. Over the years he’s worked for all the major aviation magazines and even managed to publish two books, “Red Flag: Air Combat for the 21st Century” and “F-15 Eagle at War”. When offered the ability to work on the other side of the lens, he jumped at the chance.
Born May 6th, 1974, Tyson is a resident of Monterey, CA and enjoys mountain biking, water-skiing, and of course photography. He’s a contract photographer for the Monterey Bay Aquarium and member of the marketing committee for the California International Air Show, Salinas. A part of the life-long student pilot club, flying has become both a passion and career. “I think this venture will give me a whole new outlook on the process of flight!”
